The Real Party in St. Paul, Monday 9/1

You may have heard there will be some political activity in St. Paul at the beginning of September. Join us September 1st for the real party in St. Paul hosted by SD64 DFL and the St. Paul DFL at the home of State Rep. Erin Murphy.

Central Committee Meeting, Wednesday 8/20

Please join us for our monthly central meeting, next Wednesday August 20 at 7:00 PM at Macalester College Olin Rice Hall Room 350. Matt Entenza, our former SD64A State Rep. and our head of Minnesota 2020 will be there to talk about how progressives can deliver the winning message in an election season. We’ll also hear from Julia Wong, a representative of the Obama campaign. Adjournment to Groveland Tap.

DONATIONS & TIME NEEDED FOR FUNDRAISER ON 9/1

We need everyone’s help to make our September 1st event a success.  Here’s a few ways you can help:

1. Hand deliver and drop off stacks of invites to various coffee shops in the area.
2. Donate food, wine or beer for the event. (contact me for more details).
3. Volunteer to set-up, work at, or clean up on September 1.

LAWN SIGN PALOOZA, 8/23

SD64 will be hosting a “Lawn sign Palooza” on August 23, 2008 where we will drop lawn signs for Rep. Erin Murphy, Rep. Michael Paymar, and Congresswoman Betty McCollm across the Senate District.  It will start at 1498 Fairmount Avenue at 9:00 A.M.  Coffee & donuts provided. If you can attend, please email RSVP@sd64dfl.org

If you want a lawn sign, please let us know in advance by emailing info@sd64dfl.org and telling us which campaign. Please note Obama signs must be purchased at Obama headquarters or from their website. They are not giving them away.

Lawn signs for every other campaign are provided free of charge.

SD64A NEIGHBORS MURPHY DOOR KNOCK, 8/19

Don’t forget every Tuesday Rep. Project Victory Phone Bank and Canvass, 8/9

Project Victory Extravaganza

Senate Districts 64, 65 and 66 are teaming up to register the new caucus goers to vote. We will be  knocking on doors and making calls to build our base to ensure a win this fall. 

Time:  10:00AM - Breakfast and Meet & Greet with Thomasin Franken

11:00AM to 1:30PM – Door Knock and Phone Bank

2:00PM to 4:00PM – BBQ with an appearance by Al Franken

Doorknock with Erin Murphy, 7/29

Rep. Erin Murphy sends her greetings to friends across SD64.  Join with her and other friends from our district each Tuesday.  Here’s the latest from Rep. Murphy:
The latest Wall Street Journal Poll shows the presidential race is tightening, as we would expect.  The US Senate race is going to be competitive.  We are connecting with voters to turn out our base in 64A.  Please join us in this effort.
Next Tuesday, July 29th, we will knock Ward 4- Precinct 10.  We will meet at the home of Anne White  at 5:30 and hit the doors at 6:00 PM.
